Our Story
Racing has always been a part of Jimmy Cox’s life. From go-karts as a kid to drag racing as a teen, the thrill of competition was never far away. In 2023, Jimmy reignited that passion when he surprised his family with a Pro Truck — delivered straight to their driveway — and the JC Motorsports journey began.
That same summer, life threw an unexpected challenge. Jimmy suffered a severe heart attack that nearly ended everything. Instead of stopping the dream, it reshaped it. With unwavering determination and the support of his family, JC Motorsports pushed forward, transforming adversity into fuel for success.
Through connections with Crew Chief Alex Roberts and the Landon Cox Racing family, the team found their current driver, Seth Christensen. Together, they took their first steps in competitive asphalt racing, moving quickly from Pro Trucks to Pro Late Models.
Where We Are Today
2025 marked a milestone as our inaugural Pro Late Model season. In just our first 11 races, we’ve earned:

At JC Motorsports, we’re not just racing cars — we’re building opportunities. Our Driver Development Program will open doors for talented drivers who bring both skill and determination to the track. With plans to expand further in the 2026 season, we are committed to developing champions and growing our presence in the world of asphalt racing.
